From early days growing up in Derbyshire, the natural environment of the countryside and the coast has always been a great influence on me, from playing in the streams or holidays in Wales I always preferred to be outdoors getting into a mess of some fashion rather than watching telly.

After art college, where my degree focussed on Silversmithing, I taught myself jewellery, which is why I always reach for the large file at the bench to start with bold strokes!

Using these tools I created the sculptural style that has grown over the years. 

While I think it is important to maintain integrity to my vision my ideas are constantly evolving.

Everything I enjoy in life, is absorbed and filtered through into my designs.

I still enjoy my work today as much as I did when I first began.
